Few US buyers will consider the acquisition of an aircraft that is based/registered overseas. First there is the inconvenience of having to go abroad to look at the aircraft. Then there is the question of how the aircraft was maintained and where. And with so many aircraft here, why bother. The answer? PRICE !

Selling an aircraft in the US today is difficult with the norm taking 200 days or more for the most popular aircraft models. But in many parts of the world where aircraft ownership is only a fraction of what it is here, selling an aircraft can be much more problematic forcing owners to deeply discount their aircraft in order for them to sell. Europe's FAA equivalent, EASA, is as stringent if not more than the FAA. And Europe has OEM maintenance facilities throughout. Many aircraft we target in Asia, taking Turkey as an example, fly charter operations throughout Europe and are governed by EASA also. Many Central and South American aircraft are maintained at OEM maintenance facilities in the US.
